The 93 version of the game includes fifty-five offensive plays and seventy-one defensive plays for the user to pick from. Madden 93 was Madden’s first game which included significant improvements to game-play, game modes, and overall football feel. NFL & NFLPA licenses were vacant in this game, leaving only team names to be cities and colors. New game modes were pre-season, regular season, playoff, and sudden death games.
